Aviation geek lego scene

This is what happens when a guy who spends his summers plane spotting gets stuck inside. Washington is known for rain. I started playing with LEGO this winter to stay busy. I was going for a Howard Hughes test pilot vibe.

Lego Star Wars Super Star Destroyer

I had the pleasure of seeing this build at Emerald City Comicon 2016 in the Brick Nation area of the event. It’s staggering in scale. When I photograph scale models I usually bring a dollar and a quarter for reference. I didn’t have either with me this time.

Lego 75136 Droid Escape Pod Diorama (WIP)

When I saw this set in the Lego catalog I knew I had to have it. I have been needing a break from 1/72 scale modeling and I have been wanting to practice building dioramas.
